Day 1: Arrival in Mumbai
Welcome to India for Rajasthan Tour with Mumbai and Varanasi. Upon your arrival at Mumbai International Airport, a representative from Shakti India Tours will warmly welcome you and then escort you to your hotel. After check-in, spend the rest of the day at your leisure. You might opt for a leisurely walk along Marine Drive or visit the local markets for shopping. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 2: Full-Day Mumbai Sightseeing
Have a delicious breakfast served at your hotel and get ready for a full day sightseeing in Mumbai, the City of Dreams—India’s financial, commercial, and entertainment capital of India.
Visit the iconic Gateway of India. Built in 1924, it is a historical and cultural landmark. Overlooking the azure Arabian Sea, this iconic monument commemorates the 1911 visit of King George V and marks the departure of British Troops after India’s independence.
Then, visit the serene Haji Ali Dargah, a famous Islamic shrine located on a small islet off the coast of Mumbai. Built in 1431, it houses the tomb of the Muslim saint Pir Haji Ali Shah Bukhari. Today, the dargah is a significant pilgrimage site, visited by devotees of all faiths seeking blessings and spiritual solace.
Later, visit the Prince of Wales Museum, now known as Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalaya. Built in 1905, the museum houses an extensive collection of ancient artifacts, artworks, and sculptures, showcasing India's rich cultural heritage and history. In the evening, witness the mesmerizing Ganga Aarti at Dashashwamedh Ghat. During this spiritual ceremony, priests conduct a synchronized offering of fire and chants, creating a divine atmosphere that draws thousands of devotees and tourists who gather to witness the sacred rites and the river's enchanting glow. Return to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 4: Varanasi Sightseeing & Overnight Train to Agra
Begin your day with an early morning boat ride on the Ganges to observe the rituals and life on the ghats. Return to the hotel and have your breakfast. Later, visit the revered Kashi Vishwanath Temple and the narrow lanes of this ancient city.
Kashi Vishwanath Temple is one of the most revered Hindu temples dedicated to Lord Shiva. Situated on the western bank of the Ganges River, it holds immense spiritual significance as part of the twelve Jyotirlingas, the holiest of Shiva shrines. The temple's golden spire and sacred history make it a prominent pilgrimage site, attracting millions of devotees seeking blessings and performing rituals in the city known as the spiritual heart of India.
Later, take an excursion to Sarnath, a Buddhist pilgrimage site. In the evening, enjoy dinner before boarding the overnight train to Agra.
Day 5: Agra Sightseeing
Upon arrival in Agra, a representative from Shakti India Tours will pick you up from the station and transfer you to your hotel. Check into your hotel and freshen up. Later, proceed for the Agra Sightseeing tour.
Visit the majestic Agra Fort a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Built in the 16th century by Mughal Emperor Akbar, it is a massive red sandstone fortress located in Agra, India. It served as the imperial residence and military stronghold, showcasing impressive architecture, palaces, and courtyards within its walls.
Later, proceed to visit the Itmad-Ud-Daulah Tomb, also called the Baby Taj. It is a beautiful marble mausoleum located in the city. This elegantly beautiful monument was built between 1622 and 1628 by Empress Nur Jahan in memory of her father. The monument is so elegant, so beautiful—it is lovingly called the Baby Taj or the Draft of the Taj Mahal. Intricate inlay work and delicate designs showcase the finesse of Mughal architecture.
In the evening, explore the local markets for souvenirs. Dinner and overnight will be at the hotel.
Day 6: Agra Sightseeing & Drive to Samode
At sunrise, visit the iconic Taj Mahal to experience its breathtaking beauty. The Taj Mahal, built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in the loving memory of his wife, Mumtaj Mahal, is India’s star attraction. Completed in 1653, it is renowned for its symmetrical beauty, intricate carvings, and grand dome. As a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the New Seven Wonders of the World, the Taj Mahal attracts millions of visitors each year. After exploring the unparalleled beauty of the Taj Mahal and its beautiful surroundings, return to the hotel.
After breakfast, drive to Samode, with a stop at Fatehpur Sikri, the abandoned Mughal Capital. Fatehpur Sikri was founded as the capital of the Mughal Empire in 1571 by Emperor Akar. It continued serving as the capital till 1585 when the emperor abandoned it. Later, the city was completely abandoned because of the scarcity of drinking water. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to many historical monuments like Buland Darwaza, Jama Masjid, Salim Chisti Tomb, Panch Mahal, Birbal House, Jodha Bai Mahal, etc. Continue your journey to Samode, where you'll check into the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 7: Samode to Jaipur (Drive 42 Kms/1 Hr)
After a relaxed breakfast, proceed to Jaipur, the capital and largest city of the Indian state of Rajasthan. On the way to your hotel, stop at Hawa Mahal and explore its intricate architecture. Hawa Mahal (the Palace of Winds) is a distinctive red and pink sandstone structure. This spectacular structure was built by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh in 1799. This is a unique structure with 953 small windows or Jharokhas. These small windows were used by royal women to observe street life without being seen.
After exploring the beautiful Hawa Mahal, check in at your hotel. Later in the afternoon, visit City Palace, a grand complex built by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II. The palace showcases the stunning blend of Rajput, Mughal, and European architectural styles. It features ornate courtyards, lavish gardens, and intricate interiors, serving as a testament to the opulence and cultural heritage of the Rajput rulers.
Next, visit the Jantar Mantar, the astronomical observatory built in the 18th century by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II. Day 8: Jaipur Sightseeing

Day 9: Jaipur to Ranthambore (Drive 180 Kms/3 Hrs)
Have a very hearty breakfast at the hotel. Check out and then drive to Ranthambore National Park, famous for its tigers and rich flora and fauna. On arrival at Ranthambore, check into your hotel and freshen up and relax for some time. After lunch, embark on an evening game drive in the Ranthambore Tiger Reserve. Day 10: Ranthambore to Udaipur (Via Chittorgarh)
Enjoy an early morning game drive and explore the rich flora and fauna. Return to the hotel for breakfast. After some relaxation, check out from the hotel and drive to Udaipur, one of the most beautiful cities in the state of Rajasthan. On the way to Udaipur, stop at Chittorgarh Fort, one of the largest forts in India and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Built in the 7th century, this historical fort is famous for its imposing structure, epic battles, and poignant tales of Rajput valor and sacrifice. Continue to Udaipur, check into your hotel, and rest overnight.
Day 11: Udaipur Sightseeing
After breakfast, begin your tour with a visit to the grand City Palace, which offers panoramic views of the city and Lake Pichola. The City Palace is a beautiful sprawling complex and is a spectacular example of Rajput architecture and royal heritage. En route, visit the Kumbhalgarh Fort, a formidable 15th-century fortress renowned for its massive walls. The walls of the fort complex stretch over 36 kilometers, making it one of the longest continuous walls in the world. Built by Maharana Rana Kumbha, the fort is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and offers stunning views of the surrounding Aravalli Range, reflecting the grandeur of Rajput military architecture.
Continue to Jodhpur, the Sun City, or the Blue City. On arrival in Jodhpur, our representative will assist you with checking into your hotel. Freshen up and relax. Dinner and overnight will be at the hotel.
Day 14: Jodhpur Sightseeing
After a hearty breakfast, visit the majestic Mehrangarh Fort, perched on a hilltop in the city. The mammoth fort is one of India’s largest and most well-preserved forts. Day 15: Jodhpur to Delhi (By Flight)
Have a delicious breakfast at the hotel. Then, check out from the hotel and get transferred to Jodhpur Airport for your flight to Delhi, the capital of India. On arrival in Delhi, our representative will receive you and transfer you to your hotel. Freshen up and relax. Spend the rest of the day at leisure or in your own activities. In the evening, explore Connaught Place, often abbreviated as CP. It is a bustling commercial and financial hub in New Delhi. It is known for its colonial architecture and vibrant atmosphere. Its circular design and a mix of modern shops, restaurants, and historic landmarks make it a popular destination for both locals and tourists. Return to you by evening. Enjoy a delightful dinner before retiring for the night.
Day 16: Delhi Sightseeing
Enjoy a delicious breakfast served at your hotel. After breakfast, embark on a full-day sightseeing tour of Delhi. Visit the Red Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in the 17th century, this historic fortress is renowned for its spectacular architecture and vibrant red sandstone walls. It stands as a symbol of India's rich cultural heritage and the grandeur of the Mughal era. Also, visit the nearby Jama Masjid, one of the largest and most magnificent mosques in India. The mosque is a vibrant center of religious and cultural activity, drawing visitors with its historical grandeur and serene ambiance.
Later, visit the Qutub Minar which is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site and an iconic symbol of Delhi’s rich history. It is the tallest minaret in the world with a height of 73 meters and one of the most visited architectures in India. This historical minaret was constructed in the early 13th century and showcases exquisite Indo-Islamic architecture and intricately carved inscriptions that reflect the grandeur of the era.
After exploring and spending some time at the Qutub Complex, visit the Humayun’s Tomb, a magnificent example of Mughal architecture, which is another UNESCO World Heritage Site in Delhi. Built in the mid-16th century, the Humayun’s Tomb serves as the final resting place of the Mughal Emperor Humayun. The complex is renowned for its exquisite gardens and intricate design that inspired later Mughal structures, including the Taj Mahal in Agra.
Next, visit the Lotus Temple, a stunning architectural marvel, renowned for its striking lotus-shaped design and serene ambiance. As a Bahá'í House of Worship, it welcomes visitors of all faiths to experience its tranquil atmosphere and meditate in its peaceful surroundings.
Later, drive past the Rajpath overlooking the Presidential House (Rashtrapati Bhawan) and Parliament House (Sansad Bhawan). And, then visit the India Gate (All India War Memorial), an iconic war memorial dedicated to the soldiers who lost their lives in World War I.

Day 17: Departure from Delhi
Spend your last day at leisure. Depending on your flight schedule, you can do some last-minute shopping or sightseeing. Later, the Shakti India Tours representative will transfer you to the New Delhi International Airport.
