    Day 01: Arrival in Delhi

    Upon arrival in Delhi, you will be received and welcomed by Shakti India Tours Representative. He will transfer you to the pre-booked hotel accommodated for an overnight stay.

    Day 02: Delhi – Udaipur

    Have a hearty breakfast at the hotel transfer to airport to take a flight for Udaipur from Delhi. On reaching Udaipur, you will be transferred to the hotel by our tour representative for an overnight stay.

    Day 03: Sightseeing Tour of  Udaipur

    Have a very hearty breakfast at the hotel and then embark on a full-day sightseeing tour of Udaipur, one of the most beautiful cities in the world which is also known as the Venice of the East. Due to infinite numbers of lakes, Udaipur is also called the ‘City of Lakes’. One of the best wedding and honeymoon destinations in India. Visit City Palace, Saheliyon ki Bari, The Lake Palace, the Bhartiya Lok Kala Mandir, the Pratap Memorial and Jagdish Temple. Enjoy a boat ride on Lake Pichola in the evening. Return to hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

    Day 04: Udaipur – Kumbhalgarh

    Post breakfast in the morning, leave by road for Ranakpur. Upon arrival meet our tour representative and check in at the hotel. Later visit the Kumbhalgarh Fort, a massive 15th-century walled fortress that is so steeled against its enemies that it was conquered only once. The defeat was not due to a lapse in security—it was the result of the enemy having contaminated the fort’s water supply. Return to hotel for an overnight stay will be at the hotel.

    Day 05: Kumbhalgarh to Ghanerao(Hike)

    After having breakfast at the hotel, We’ll hike portions of the 24-mile fort, taking in the spectacular Aravali Mountains and an array of magnificent palaces and temple ruins.  Today we’ll begin our first day of trekking through the Kumbhalgarh Wildlife Sanctuary, a deep forest in the most rugged region of the Aravali Hills. The 380-square-mile park is home to leopard, antelope, wild boars, nilgais, sloth bear, wolf, and all sorts of exotic birds, like the golden Oriole, dove, and white-breasted kingfisher.

    The hike starts with a steep descent on a narrow rocky and brushy trail, lasting about an hour.  We hike on, dropping more slowly through shady forest to ThandiBeri, or Crocodile Lake, where we’ll pause and possibly spot the massive reptiles in the reedy shoreline.

    The trek continues on level dirt and paved roads to the 17th-century village of Ghanerao, strategically located at the entrance to one of the few passes into the AravaliMountains. To reach the castle, our home for the evening, we’ll navigate narrow, winding roads into the depths of the village. The castle, designed in typical Rajput style, has beautifully carved lattice friezes, marble jharokas, chandeliered rooms, and a nostalgic air of past royal glory.  The simplicity and good taste of Ghanerao Castle are enchanting, and the maze of passageways, staircases, and hidden rooms take you back 200 years into the glory days of the Rajput nobility. (10 miles, 7 hours hiking; optional shuttle for last 1-2 hours.), check in at hotel and enjoy dinner and overnight stay.

    Day 06: Ghanerao to Ranakpur(Hike)

    After breakfast we’ll set off early for our second day of trekking through semiarid forests, low-lying ridges, dry-water channels, and local step wells. We’ll hike at a gentle pace, enjoying nature, and in the early afternoon transfer to our charming cabins set in the beautiful grounds of the Maharani Bagh (the queen’s private retreat), with landscaped grounds and a pool with a waterfall. We’ll have an hour or two to enjoy the grounds before we visit the world-famous intricately carved white marble Jain temple of Ranakpur with 1,444 pillars—no two of which are alike.  After sunset with the temple monkeys, we’ll stop at a dhurrie (cotton rug) manufacturer to see the weavers’ artistry in action. (7 miles, 4 hours hiking.) .), check in at hotel and enjoy dinner and overnight stay.

    Day 07: Ranakpur to JawaiDam(Jeep Safari)

    After breakfast, we’ll drive through intermittent shade in rolling hills, sandy washes, green fields and small village hamlets, to reach Mithri Lake for lunch. Driving on a dirt road, we reach Guda village, where we join a trail through the sanctuary with lots of vistas and step wells, stopping for places of interest along the way. we emerge at Pipla Village. You’ll witness the tribal lifestyles of the local Rajasthani villages, like the sheep-herding Garasiyas (the main tribe in this area). We’ll continue driving to our destination, with views of small hills all along the way. Our lunch spot at Mithri Lake is a paradise for exotic birds and wildlife. After lunch we continue our drive, crossing green fields and small hamlets to the famous Jawai( A marsh crocodile and leopard sanctuary)

    Day 08: Jawai Dam to Korta(Jeep safari)

    After breakfast we drive by the  fields and rock outcroppings throughJawai Dam, and small villages, through open spaces, and ultimately end up in a wide open lake bed by the banks of Jawai dam. En route we’ll stop at the well by the ancient Devgiri temple, set in an alcove 100 feet up a rock mound. At Jawai dam, where we’ll look for bird life along the banks of the lake. We’re likely to see Sarus Cranes, Comb Duck, Spot-bill duck and many other aquatic species, including crocodiles (from a safe distance, of course).

    In the afternoon we’ll drive to Korta Escape for lunch.Evening jeep drive to sundown tea/coffee. Later evening cocktails and dinner at korta Escape. The Korta Escape, established in 2005, is set amidst the peaceful Aravalimountains(the oldest mountain range in the world) and surrounded by serene farmlands and small villages; a stay here allows you to experience rural Rajasthan in a very unique way. Each cottage has a private verandah and a garden in which to relax and watch the sun go down on the Aravalis.

    Mr. Nirbhay Singh, who runs the Korta Escape, is a 17th generation member of a noble family known as the local Thakur’s, that formerly held a large estate of 8 villages with affiliations to both the Jodhpur and Udaipur kingdoms. The Thakurs have had the honor of being the owners of one of the oldest horse breeding and rearing farms and stables in the region. His family of young, energetic adventurous, horse-loving Rajputs, and his immense knowledge about the history of people and culture of Rajasthan will make you feel a part of the region.

    Day 09: Korta (Hike)

    Enjoy an early morning  hiking at the white aravali mountain of korta. We climb the hill and walk the ridge to reach the ancient temple of lord Shiva. Enjoy the spectacular view from top of the mountain. We start climbing down to foothill where our jeeps are waiting to drive us back to korta escape for lunch. later in the evening  we take a walk around the village. Take time to sit in near a small temple where the older men enjoy smoking unique tobacco pipes and drinking an opium distillate. After visiting a lovely Jain temple, we’ll see an amazing display of old marble carvings excavated in the area; as a Jain pilgrimage area, there have been lots of temples over the years.  Enjoy sundown tea/coffee at secluded spot. Later cocktail and dinner at korta Escape.

    Day 10: Korta jungle camp (Horse Safari)

    At the safari routes you may find yourself in the jungle scrub or lush green valley or flat land, semi sandy deserts or Aravali foothills. The intentions of giving diversity in the tour, the routes are selected for you to visualize the kaleidoscopic culture mid traditions of Rajasthan and which are best suited for riding conditions.

    In the morning take the trail towards the hills to get up to the passes crossing some shepherd village. A very different ride also crossing some hill dunes, lunch organized at a farm. Ride towards the destination jungle camp near forested patch in the middle of dry riverbed. Many antelopes, all around. Evening cocktails with bonfire .o/n Jungle camp (deluxe cottage)

    Day 11:  Jungle Camp - Pushkar

    In the morning start your horse ride towards Pushkar – one of the holiest towns in India for Hindu pilgrims. This is the endpoint of horse safari trip of Rajasthan. Enjoy a sightseeing tour of Pushkar and then, check in at the pre-arranged hotel. Post lunch, bid goodbye to your horses. Stay overnight at the camp/hotel in Pushkar.

    Day 12: Pushkar - Jaipur

    Have a very hearty breakfast at the hotel and then drive to Jaipur by road from Pushkar. Upon arrival in Jaipur meet Shakti India Tours Representative who will transfer you to the pre-booked hotel and will assist you till the check in procedure at the hotel. In the afternoon, embark on a half-day sightseeing tour of Jaipur, the famous ‘Pink City’. The places you will visit include City Palace, Hawa Mahal and Jantar Mantar. Stay overnight in the hotel.

    Day 13: Jaipur

    Have an early morning breakfast and head straight towards the Amer fort. Hop on an elephant to ascend to the entrance of the fort. Spend the rest of the afternoon at leisure or can do shopping at Johari Bazaar. Stay overnight in the hotel.

    Day 14: Jaipur - Delhi - Departure

    Post breakfast in the morning, leave by road for Delhi. Upon arrival,Shakti India Tours Representative will meet you and transfer you to the airport to board a flight back home.
