Day 01: Arrival in New Delhi
Welcome to India on your Golden Triangle Tour with Ranthambore and Udaipur. Upon arrival at New Delhi International Airport, a representative from Shakti India Tours will meet and greet you. Later, you will be escorted to your pre-booked hotel. The representative will also assist you in check-in formalities. Freshen up and relax. Spend the rest of the day at leisure. Enjoy your first evening in the bustling capital of India. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 02: Delhi Sightseeing
Have a very hearty breakfast at the hotel and then embark on a full-day sightseeing tour of Delhi, the capital of India. Start your sightseeing tour with a visit to historical landmarks such as India Gate (All India War Memorial), Qutub Minar (UNESCO World Heritage Site), and Humayun's Tomb (UNESCO World Heritage Site. Explore the majestic Red Fort (UNESCO World Heritage Site) and take a rickshaw ride through the vibrant lanes of Chandni Chowk, one of the city's oldest markets. Also, visit the Jama Masjid-one of the largest mosques in India. End the day with a peaceful visit to Lotus Temple and a drive past the grand Rashtrapati Bhavan (Presidential Palace). By late evening return to your hotel. Dinner and overnight will be at the hotel.
Day 03: Delhi – Agra & Sightseeing
Check out from your hotel after having your delicious breakfast. Depart for Agra, home to the world-famous Taj Mahal, en route visiting Akbar’s Tomb at Sikandara. Upon arrival in Agra, check in at your pre-booked hotel. After some relaxation, proceed to visit the Taj Mahal, one of the most beautiful monuments in the world and one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. Built in pure white marble this iconic monument of love was built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in the loving memory of his most darling wife, Mumtaj Mahal. Marvel at spectacular architecture and also explore the beautiful gardens and fountains in the surroundings. The Taj Mahal is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Later, explore the magnificent Agra Fort which is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In the evening, you may visit Mehtab Bagh for a stunning view of the Taj Mahal at sunset. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 04: Agra to Jaipur (The Pink City)
Enjoy your breakfast and then check out from the hotel in Agra. Drive to Jaipur, the capital and largest city of Rajasthan, en route to Fatehpur Sikri (an abandoned Mughal city rich in history and architecture). Fatehpur Sikri is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Buland Darwaza, Jama Masjid, Salim Chiti Tomb, Jodha Bai Palace, and Panch Mahal are major attractions at Fatehpur Sikri. Continue your drive to Jaipur. Our representative will assist you with check-in at the hotel upon arrival in Jaipur, the Pink City of India. Freshen up and relax. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 05: Jaipur Sightseeing
After an early morning breakfast, proceed to visit the majestic Amer Fort, also called Amer Fort, situated atop a hill. Enjoy an elephant or jeep ride to ascend the fort complex. Amer Fort is one of the Hill Forts of Rajasthan, designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The fort complex is known for its stunning architecture. The fort overlooks the beautiful view of the Pink City. Return to the main city en route visiting Jal Mahal (Water Palace), a beautiful palace situated in the middle of the Man Sagar Lake. Later, visit the City Palace complex to explore its grandeur, architecture, and other structures. Visit the Goven Devji Temple situated inside the City Palace Complex. After exploring the grandeur of the City Palace, visit Jaipur’s iconic monument, Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds)—one of the finest examples of architectural brilliance that will never fail to awe you. Then, visit the Jantar Mantar Royal Observatory which is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In the evening, enjoy shopping for handicrafts in the local markets. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 06: Jaipur Sightseeing
Have a relaxed breakfast at the hotel. Later, proceed to explore more of Jaipur’s culture and history with a visit to Nahargarh Fort and Jaigarh Fort. Situated atop a hill above the Amber Fort, these magnificent forts proudly showcase the brilliance of Rajputana architecture and rich history. These forts offer breathtaking views of the city. Later, explore other attractions of Jaipur like the Albert Hall Museum, Birla Mandir, etc. Enjoy a traditional Rajasthani cultural experience in the evening, complete with folk dance and music. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 07: Jaipur to Ranthambore
Have your breakfast served at the hotel. After that, set out for Ranthambore National Park, one of India’s largest and most renowned national parks—known for its Royal Bengal Tigers. Once you arrive, our representative will help you with check-in at your hotel. Freshen up and relax. The rest of the day is at your leisure to enjoy the tranquil surroundings of the park. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 08: Jungle Safari in Ranthambore
In the early morning, embark on an exhilarating morning jungle safari in Ranthambore National Park. Ranthambore has rich flora and fauna. It is best known for its population of Bengal tigers. You can spot tigers here even during the daytime basking in the sun. You can also see here other wildlife attractions like leopards, sloth bears, striped hyenas, chitals (spotted deer), jackals, jungle cats, monkeys, hanuman langurs, black-headed monkeys, various species of birds, etc. Return to the hotel and have your breakfast. Visit the Ganesh Temple situated inside the Ranthambore National Park. Later in the afternoon, take another jeep safari in the jungle. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 09: Ranthambore to Udaipur
After an early morning breakfast, check out from the hotel in Ranthambore and drive to Udaipur, often called the "City of Lakes" or the “Venice of the East” due to the various lakes within the city.
En route, visit Chittorgarh Fort which resonates with stories of Rajputana bravery, pride, and passion. The bards of Rajasthan sing tales of courage and sacrifice recounting stories that are known to every child and adult in the city. Chittorgarh Fort has had a tumultuous past. This bastion of the Rajputs has faced violent attacks thrice in its entire history. The first was in 1303 when the Sultan of Delhi, Ala-ud-din Khilji, in 1533, it was Bahadur Shah, the Sultan of Gujarat, who caused immense destruction. Four decades later, in 1568, Mughal Emperor Akbar attacked and seized the fort. It was finally in 1616, under the rule of Mughal Emperor Jahangir that the fort was returned to the Rajputs.
Continue your drive to Udaipur. Upon arrival in Udaipur, our representative will transfer you to the hotel. Freshen up and unwind. In the evening, take a leisurely stroll along Lake Pichola, and witness the serenity of Jag Mandir and Lake Palace. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 10: Udaipur Sightseeing
Have a leisurely breakfast at the hotel. Set pit to explore the royal charm of Udaipur, the City of Palaces, known for its palatial palaces and lovely lakes. See the Jagdish Temple, a fine example of Indo-Aryan architecture, and visit the serene Saheliyon Ki Bari (Garden of Maidens). End your day with a tranquil boat ride on Lake Pichola. Day 11: Udaipur Leisure Day and Departure
Spend your morning at leisure, relaxing in the beautiful surroundings of Udaipur, followed by a delicious breakfast.
