Day 01: Arrival in New Delhi

Welcome to New Delhi, the capital of India. Upon arrival at New Delhi International Airport, a representative from Shakti India Tours will receive you with a warm welcome. Subsequently, you will get the assisted transfer to the pre-booked hotel. Freshen up and unwind yourself at the hotel room. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.

Day 02: Delhi Sightseeing

Have a very hearty breakfast at the hotel. Thereafter, embark on a guide sightseeing tour in Delhi. Visit the Raj Ghat, the cremation site of Mahatma Gandhi, the Father of the Nation. Then, visit the magnificent Red Fort, built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan who also built the spectacular Taj Mahal in Agra. Explore the fort complex and marvel at its spectacular architecture. Red Fort is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site.  Outside the Red Fort, visit the Jama Masjid—the largest mosque in India. Also, explore the Chandani Chowk local markets.

Later, proceed to explore the attractions of New Delhi. Drive to India Gate, a war memorial monument built in the year 1931 to commemorate the Indian soldiers who died in World War I & the Afghan Wars. Then, visit Government Buildings, including the Parliament House of India and the President House of India. Later, visit the Humayun’s Tomb, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the first example of this type of Mughal architecture in India. Visit the magnificent Laxmi Narayan Temple, also called the Birla Mandir. Thereafter, proceed to visit the Qutub Minar, another UNESCO World Heritage Site in Delhi. The Qutub Minar is the tallest (72 m) brick minaret in the world, an important example of Indo - Islamic Architecture. In the evening, visit the Connaught Place and enjoy some shopping around. On-time return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 03: Delhi to Jaipur by Train

In the early morning, you will be transferred to the Delhi Railway Station, where you will board the train for Jaipur, the capital and largest city of Rajasthan. Upon arrival at the Jaipur Railway Station, our representative will meet and transfer you to the pre-booked hotel. Spend the rest of the day at leisure. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.

Day 04: Jaipur Sightseeing

Post breakfast, take an excursion to the Amer Fort, which is located on the outskirts of the city atop a hill. Enjoy an elephant ride to ascend the fort complex. Explore the fort complex and marvel at its spectacular architecture. Return to the main city en route visiting the Jal Mahal, a beautiful palace located in the middle of the Man Sagar Lake. In the afternoon, proceed for a guided city tour in Jaipur covering attractions like City Palace, Govind Devji Temple, Hawa Mahal, Albert Hall Museum, Jantar Mantar (UNESCO World Heritage Site), and local markets. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.

Day 05: Jaipur to Agra by Train

In the morning, you are free to explore the local markets of Jaipur and enjoy shopping. Later in the afternoon, you will be transferred to the Jaipur Railway Station to board the train for Agra, a historical city in Uttar Pradesh. On arrival at Agra Railway Station, our representative will meet you and transfer you to the pre-booked hotel. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.

Day 06: Agra Sightseeing

Visit the famous Taj Mahal at sunrise. The Taj Mahal is one of the most beautiful buildings in the world. It is one of the Seven Wonders of the World and is fondly described as the Symbol of Love. The finest example of Mughal architecture, the beauty of the Taj Mahal is incomparable. This magnificent love monument was built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in the loving memory of his most beloved wife, Mumtaz Mahal. Return to the hotel for breakfast.

Later, visit the Agra Fort, built by Mughal Emperor Akbar as a military establishment. Constructed in red sandstone, the fort complex is also known as the Red Fort of Agra. Within the fort complex, you will see several beautiful structures. Later, visit the Itmad-Ud-Daulah Tomb, built by Mughal Empress Nur Jahan in the memory of his father. It is a beautiful monument. Its interiors are even more beautiful than the Taj Mahal. Due to its spectacular architecture, it is also called the Draft of the Taj Mahal or the Bay Taj. After sightseeing, return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 07: Agra to Delhi by Train – Departure

Post an early breakfast, you will be transferred to Agra Railway Station, where you will board the train back to Delhi. On arrival in Delhi, a representative from Shakti India Tours will receive you and transfer you to the New Delhi International Airport. Take a flight back to your home destination with sweet memories of the golden triangle train tour in India. The tour ends.
