Day 1: Arrive in Delhi

You will be warmly welcomed by Shakti India Tours representative as soon as you arrive in Delhi. He will transfer you to the pre-booked hotel. Check-in at the hotel and stay overnight.

Day 2: Delhi Sightseeing

After breakfast, venture out on a sightseeing tour of Delhi. Jama Masjid, Red Fort (built by Shahjahan), the nearby streets of Chandni Chowk market and Rajghat are some tourist attractions in Old Delhi; Humayun’s Burial, Qutub Minar (2nd tallest minaret in India), Lotus Temple (temple of Baha’is), Birla Temple, Iskcon Temple, Akshardham Temple, India Gate, President’s house & all the secretariat buildings on Rajpath are some spots in New Delhi. Return to hotel for overnight stay.

Day 3: Delhi - Jaipur & Sightseeing

After breakfast drive to Jaipur, check-in at the hotel, and relax. After lunch, proceed for Half day Sightseeing tour of Jaipur – We go to the main Jaipur city exploring sites like Hawa Mahal embracing 935 windows on its five floors, the museum of City Palace, Jantar Mantar. Return to the hotel. Night stay at Jaipur.

Day 4: Jaipur & Sightseeing

After breakfast, proceed for full day sightseeing of Jaipur, the pink city tour starts on with climbing up to the Amber Palace (via an elephant ride), Jaigarh Fort, and Nahargarh Fort. Afternoon free for shopping as Jaipur is also known as shoppers’ paradise. Return to the hotel. Night stay at Jaipur.

Day 5: Jaipur - Agra & Sightseeing

Post breakfast, a 5.5 hours’ drive will convey you to Agra. En-route stopover at Fatehpur Sikri where the sight of mighty Buland Darwaza, Jama Masjid, and the tomb of well-known Sufi saint Sheikh Salim Chishti will give your senses a high. As you arrive at Agra head towards a hotel to relax for some time. Later in the evening, visit Agra Fort and Visit colorful local markets and handicrafts markets. In the evening. return to the hotel for Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel in Agra.

Day 6: Agra - Jhansi – Orcha

At Sunrise proceed for a city tour covering UNESCO World Heritage Sites such as the Taj Mahal (one of the Seven Wonders of the World), Return to the hotel, and have the morning meal. You’ll be transferred to the Agra Railway Station from where you will board a train to Jhansi. From Jhansi, you will be transferred to Orcha Hotel. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel in Orcha.

Day 7: Orcha – Khajuraho

After having breakfast at the hotel, enjoy Orcha sightseeing. Temples and Palaces to visit in Orcha are the very old Chaturbhuj Temple, Laxmi Temple, Ram Raja Temple, Raj Mahal, and Jahangir Mahal built by a Rajput king but named so because Jahangir was the son of a Rajput princess Jodha Bai. You later will be transferred to Khajuraho. Upon arrival in Khajuraho, check-in at the pre-designated hotel. Enjoy evening sound and light show and return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 8: Khajuraho – Varanasi

At sunrise – embark on a Khajuraho sightseeing tour. Explore Khajuraho Temple Complex (UNESCO World Heritage Site). The temples of Khajuraho were built under the Chandela dynasty and perfectly showcase the openness of Indian culture along with ‘worth applauding’ work done by the sculptors. Temples on the itinerary are Kandariya Mahadeo, Matangeshwara Temple, Parsvanath Temple, Adinath Temple, and Vishwanath Temple. Temples are very famous among tourists because of erotic arts and sculptures.

Return to the hotel for breakfast and later transfer to Khajuraho airport to board a flight to Varanasi Varanasi Holy city of Varanasi is one of the most revered cities in Hindu pilgrimage because it is the home of Mahadeva/ Shiva (the supreme God as according to Vedas). Ganga the sacred river flows from here originating from Shiva’s long braided hair, temples and ghats line the river and offer peace of mind and a tranquil experience to the devotees. Pick up from Varanasi airport and transfer to Varanasi hotel for overnight stay.

Day 9: Varanasi

At sunrise proceed for a boat ride trip on River Ganges. Return to the hotel for breakfast and later you will be exploring the Ghats and temples of the city. Also, you can visit the Benaras Hindu University which is one of the leading Universities in India.

Day 10: Varanasi to Delhi and Departure

After Breakfast check out and proceed to visit Sarnath temples. Later during the day representative of Shakti India Tours will transfer you to Varanasi airport to board your flight to Delhi and board a further flight for home or onward destination.
