    Day 1: Arrival in Delhi

    Upon arrival at New Delhi International Airport in Delhi, a representative from Shakti India Tours will receive you with a warm welcome. Then you would be transferred to your pre-booked hotel. Freshen up and relax. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.

    Day 2: Sightseeing in Delhi

    After having breakfast at the hotel embark on a full-day guided city tour to explore the famous attractions of Delhi. Visit famous attractions of Old Delhi. The area is dotted with numerous attractions like Rajghat, Red Fort, Jama Masjid, and Sri Digambar Jain Lal Mandir. Rajghat is a memorial dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi, the father of National. It is the final resting place of Gandhi Ji. Two museums dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi are situated nearby. Then visit the Red Fort that is a historic for and UNESCO World Heritage Site. It was constructed by the fifth Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan after shifting his capital from Agra to Delhi. It is the site where every year the Prime Minister of India hoists the Indian “tricolor flag” at the main gate of the fort on Independence Day (15th August).

    Thereafter, visit the famous Jama Masjid, a principal mosque of Old Delhi. It is one of the largest mosques in the country. It can accommodate about 25000 people at a time. The mosque was built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan between 1650 and 1656. Then visit the Shri Digambar Jain Lal Temple. Originally built in 1658, the temple is the oldest and best-known Jain temple in Delhi. The temple is known for its impressive structure made up of red sandstone. Your Old Delhi sightseeing tour would be incomplete without exploring the Chandni Chowk, one of the oldest and busiest markets in Old Delhi.

    After exploring Old Delhi attractions, proceed to visit other attractions located in New Delhi and other parts of Delhi. Visit the India Gate – All India War Memorial, located astride the ceremonial avenue Rajpath. Then visit the Rashtrapati Bhawan which is the official residence of the President of India. The Rashtrapati Bhawan is located at the Western end of the Rajpath. You can also visit the nearby Sansad Bhawan, the Parliament House of India.

    Later, visit the UNESCO World Heritage Sites like Humayun’s Tomb and Qutub Minar (Qutub Complex). If time permits, you may also visit some other attractions like the Lotus Temple (the Bahai House of Worship) and the Laxmi Narayan Mandir (Birla Temple).     Day 3: Delhi - Agra (210km / 3.5 hrs. approx.)

    Have a very hearty breakfast at the hotel. Then drive to Agra. Agra is an important city located in the state of Uttar Pradesh. It is a historic city that is famous among tourists from all around the world because of several historical monuments like the Taj Mahal (the Symbol of Love), Agra Fort (the Red Fort of Agra), and Itimad-Ud-Daulah Tomb (the Baby Taj).

    En-route visit of Akbar’s Tomb at Sikandra: Before reaching Agra have a halt at Sikandra which is a suburb of Agra city. It is located at a distance of only 4 km from Agra. Sikandra is famous for its historical site. It is home to the Tomb of Akbar the Great. Visit the Akbar’s Tomb at Sikandra. The tomb portrays the finest amalgamation of Hindu, Christian, Baudh, Muslim, and Jain architectural styles.

    Upon arrival in Agra, check-in at your pre-booked hotel. Have some rest and then proceed for a sightseeing tour. Visit the historical Agra Fort, the Red Fort of Agra. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and known for its architectural brilliance.     Day 4: Agra - Ranthambore (250 km / 5 hrs. approx.)

    In the early morning proceed to visit the Taj Mahal, the Epitome of Love. The Taj Mahal is a mausoleum of Mumtaz Mahal built-in pure white marble. It was built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in the loving memory of his most darling wife Mumtaz Mahal after her death. The beauty of the Taj Mahal especially at sunrise and sunset is simply incomparable. We cannot describe the beauty of the Taj Mahal in words. The Taj is not only an architectural wonder but also a symbol of love and a symbol of India’s rich history. The Taj Mahal is also the New7Wonders of the World. Return to the hotel for breakfast.

    After breakfast, check out from the hotel in Agra. Drive to Ranthambore National Park en-route visiting Fatehpur Sikri which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Fatehpur Sikri is a historical town in the Agra District. It was founded by Mughal Emperor Akbar as his capital. But soon he abandoned this town due to the scarcity of drinking water. At Fatehpur Sikri, you will have a wonderful opportunity to see several historical monuments and structures. Buland Darwaza (the Gate of Victory, built by Akbar to commemorate his victory over Gujarat), Jama Masjid, Tomb of Salim Chishti, Diwan-i-Aam, Diwan-i-Khas, Ibadat Khana, Anup Talao, Naubat Khana, Rani Jodha Bai Palace, Birbal House, and Panch Mahal are major attractions you may visit in Fatehpur Sikri, Agra.

    Day 5: Ranthambore National Park

    Ranthambore National Park, Tiger Reserve, and Wildlife Sanctuary is best known for its large population of royal Bengal tigers. It is one of the best places in northern India where tigers can be easily spotted even during the daytime. You may spot a tiger here basking under the sun. Other animals found in this wildlife sanctuary are Indian leopard, sambar, striped hyena, sloth bear, nilgai, wild boar, langur, and chital. The park is home to a wide variety of trees, plants, animals, birds, and reptiles. It is also the site for one of the largest banyan trees in India. The historical Ranthambore Fort lies within the park.

    Early morning proceed for jungle safari and wildlife viewing in Ranthambore National Park & Tiger Reserve. Return to the hotel room for breakfast. Afternoon safari is also to be experienced in the jungle. On-time return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

    Day 6: Ranthambore - Jaipur (185 km / 2.5 to 3 hrs. approx.)

    Have a very relaxed breakfast at the hotel. Check out from the hotel and then drive to Jaipur, the capital and largest city of Rajasthan.     Day 7: Sightseeing in Jaipur

    After early morning breakfast, take an excursion to Amer Fort located on the outskirts of Jaipur city. Located atop a hill, the Amer Fort and Palace is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is best known for its architectural brilliance. Enjoy an elephant ride to ascend the fort complex. The architecture of Amber Fort & Palace is a fine blend of Rajput and Mughal architectural styles. Return to hotel en-route visiting the famous Jal Mahal (the Palace of Water). Later proceed to attractions of main Jaipur city.

    Visit the magnificent City Palace Complex that is located in the heart of Jaipur city. The beautiful palace complex was established by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II. The complex consists of beautiful courtyards, palaces, pavilions, gardens, museums, and temples. Chandra Mahal, Mubarak Mahal, Shri Govind Dev Temple, and the City Palace Museum are the main attractions inside the complex.

    After exploring City Palace attractions, visit the Hawa Mahal (the Palace of Winds) which is located at the edge of the City Palace. The beautiful historic Hawa Mahal is a major landmark and one of the prime attractions of the Jaipur city tour. The palace was built by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh, the grandson of Sawai Jai Singh (the founder of Jaipur). The place resembles the shape of Lord Krishna’s crown and hence it is also called the crown of Jaipur city. There are five storeys in the palace with 953 small windows called Jharokhas decorated with intricate latticework. You would be amazed to see the architectural beauty of both – the City Palace, and the Hawa Mahal.

    Day 8: Jaipur - Delhi (268 km / 5 hrs. approx.) – Departure
