    Day 01: Arrival in Delhi

    Upon your arrival in Delhi, the capital of India, Shakti India Tours representative will receive you from Airport/Railway Station and transfer you to the pre-booked hotel. Relax for the rest of the day in your hotel. In the evening, you can explore the local markets or take a stroll in the hotel premises. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.

    Day 02: Delhi Sightseeing Tour

    Have a delicious breakfast at the hotel. Embark on cultural and heritage tour of Delhi, the capital of India. Delhi boasts several cultural and heritage monuments. Start with visiting the famous Qutub Minar and Red Fort. Both are UNESCO World Heritage sites and known for their splendid architectural beauty. Thereafter, proceed towards the famous Laxmi Narayan Temple (Birla Temple) and then Rashtrapati Bhawan (the Presidential House of India). Also, visit the other monuments and attractions like India Gate, Humayun’s Tomb (a UNESCO World Heritage Site), and Rajghat. In the evening, explore the famous bazaars of Old Delhi such as the Palika Bazaar, Connaught Place, and Chandani Chowk. Return to the hotel on time. Dinner and overnight will be at the hotel.

    Day 03: Delhi – Jaipur

    Have a hearty breakfast at the hotel and then drive to Jaipur, the Pink City of India. It will take approximately 4 hours to reach Jaipur by road. On your arrival in Jaipur, you will be assisted check-in at the hotel. Rest of the day is at your leisure. In the evening, explore local markets and collect some souvenirs. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel in Jaipur.

    Day 04: Jaipur Sightseeing Tour

    After breakfast, embark on an exciting Jaipur city tour. The sightseeing tour in Jaipur will allow you to explore the cultural richness of India. Start with visiting the Amer Fort, a grand hill fort that was built by Raja Man Singh in 1952. Enjoy an elephant ride to reach the entrance of the Amer Fort, situated atop a hill in the outskirt of the city. You will get amazed to see the amazing beauty of the fort complex. It is a pristine example of Rajput and Mughal architectural styles and is made from sandstone and marble. The fort overlooks the entire Pink City and is declared as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

    Return to the main city visiting in en-route the famous Jal Mahal. Explore other historical monuments like City Palace, Govind Dev Ji Temple, Birla Mandir, Hawa Mahal, Jantar Mantar, and Albert Hall Museum.

    The City Palace Complex is located in the heart of the city. The palace complex includes several courtyards, buildings, pavilions, gardens, and temples. The famous Govind Dev Ji Temple is located within the palace complex. The City Palace was built by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II.

    The Hawa Mahal is one of the main attractions of Jaipur city tour. Built from red and pink sandstone, the palace sits at the edge of the City Palace. The Hawa Mahal was built in 1799 by the Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh, the grandson of Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh, who founded the city of Jaipur. This 5-storeyed-structure contains 953 small Windows known called Jharokhas decorated with intricate latticework.

    Day 05: Jaipur – Fatehpur Sikri – Agra

    Take your breakfast at the hotel. Thereafter, move towards Agra by road en route visiting Fatehpur Sikri, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Fatehpur Sikri was built by Mughal Emperor Akbar as his capital. The emperor shortly abandoned this city as his capital due to the scarcity of drinking water. At Fatehpur Sikri, you will see several historical monuments such as, Buland Darwaza (a 54 meters tall marble gateway built to commemorate Akbar's victory over Gujarat), Jama Masjid, Anoop Talao, Tomb of Salim Chishti, Ibadat Khana, Jodha Bai Palace (Mariam-uz-Zamani's Palace), Naubat Khana, Panch Mahal, Birbal’s House, Diwan-i-Aam, and Diwan-i-Khas.

    After exploring Fatehpur Sikri, continue your drive to Agra. On your arrival in Agra, you will have an assisted check-in at your pre-booked hotel. The rest of the day is at your leisure. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel in Agra.

    Day 06: Agra Sightseeing Tour

    Agra is a historical city in the state of Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. The city boasts several historical monuments including the Taj Mahal (the epitome of love), Agra Fort, and the Itmad-ud-Daulah Tomb (the Baby Taj).

    Take your breakfast at the hotel. On the 6th day of your heritage and cultural tour of India, you will be taken for the Agra sightseeing tour. First, you will visit the magnificent Taj Mahal, one of the Seven Wonders of the World and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Built in pure white marble, the Taj Mahal was constructed by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in the loving memory of his beloved wife, Mumtaz Mahal.

    Next, visit to the Agra Fort, another UNESCO World Heritage Site in the city. The architecturally beautiful fort complex was the great Mughal Emperor, Akbar. Moti Masjid, Diwan-e-Khas, Diwan-e-Aam, Khas Mahal and Jahangir Mahal are the beautiful structures inside the Agra Fort Complex.

    Later, proceed to visit the Itmad-ud-Daulah Tomb, often described as a “Jewel Box”, sometimes called the “Baby Taj”. The monument is often regarded as a draft of the Taj Mahal. The mausoleum monument was commissioned by the Mughal Empress Nur Jahan, for her father Mirza Ghiyas Beg.

    Day 07: Agra – Gwalior

    Checkout from your hotel in Agra after having the breakfast. Drive towards Gwalior, a city in Madhya Pradesh in the heart of India. The city boasts huge historical significance as it was ruled by the Mughals, the Scindia, and the Marathas. It will take approximately 3 hours to reach Gwalior from Agra by road.     Day 08: Gwalior Sightseeing Tour

Built in the 18th century and spread across an area of 3 squares kilometers, this historical fort is of the most important sites of the 1857 revolt; it used by Tatya Tope and Rani Lakshmi Bai at one point in time.
