    Day 1: Arrival in Mumbai

    On arrival at Mumbai Airport, a representative from Shakti India Tours will receive you with a warm welcome. Then you would be transferred to your pre-booked hotel. Freshen up and relax. You may go for a walk around nearby streets. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.

    Day 2: Mumbai Sightseeing

    After breakfast, proceed for sightseeing in Mumbai, the capital of the Indian state of Maharashtra. Lovingly called the City of Dreams or Maya Nagari, it is also the financial, commercial, and entertainment capital of India. It is home to three UNESCO World Heritage Sites: the Elephanta Caves, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus, the city’s distinctive ensemble of Victorian and Art Deco buildings.

    On your Mumbai sightseeing tour, your first stop will be at the Gate of India in the Mumbai Harbor. The Gateway of India is a 20th century built arch monument. From the harbour take a ferry ride to reach Elephanta Caves located on Elephanta Island. Here you will see a collection of cave temples predominantly dedicated to the Hindu god Shiva. Explore the spectacular rock-cut architectural styles and enjoy the sea views.

    Return to the Gateway of India. Visit the Gateway of India which is built in Indo-Saracenic architectural styles. Enjoy the photo shoot here. Then, visit the Prince of Wales Museum where you can see interesting artifacts of the Indus Valley civilization. Later see other attractions like Shree Siddhivinayak Temple, Hanging Gardens, Juhu, Chowpatty, Main Bhawan (a memorial for Mahatma Gandhi.     Day 3: Mumbai - Bangalore (by Flight)

    Have a relaxed breakfast at the hotel. On time, you will be transferred to Mumbai Airport to catch a flight for Bangalore, the capital of the Indian state of Karnataka. On arrival in Bangalore, the Garden City of India, you will be transferred to your pre-booked hotel. Freshen up and relax. Spend the rest of the day at leisure or enjoy your own individual activities. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.

    Day 4: Bangalore - Mysore (135 km / 3 hrs. approx.)

    After breakfast, proceed for sightseeing in Bangalore, the Garden City of India. Visit the Bangalore Palace which was constructed in 1887 by the Wodeyar dynasty in Tudor style architecture. Then visit the very famous Lal Bagh Botanical Garden. Lal Bagh has more than 1000 distinctive flora. See the beautiful Glass House within the Lal Bagh. The Glass Palace is inspired by London’s crystal palace. Then proceed to visit the Nandi Bull Temple (Big Bull Temple). The temple is famous for a giant granite bull statue that is carved out of a single piece of rock. Built-in the 16th century, the temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva. Thereafter, take a visit to Tip Sultan’s Summer Palace. The temple will never fail to lure you with its spectacular architecture completely built using teakwood with exquisitely carved pillars, arches, and balconies. Thereafter continue your sightseeing covering Cubbon Park, Vidhana Soudha, High Court, and ISKCON Temple. Later, take a visit to the Visvesvaraya Industrial and Technological Museum.

Located in the foothills of Chamundi Hills, Mysore is a popular tourist destination in the state of Kerala. It served as the capital city of the Kingdom of Mysore for nearly six centuries from 1399 until 1956. It is often described as the City of Palaces, and the Heritage City. Sometimes it is also described as the Cultural Capital of Karnataka. On arrival in Mysore, you would be transferred to your pre-booked hotel. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.

    Day 4: Mysore Sightseeing Tour

    Have your breakfast. Our representative will pick up you from the hotel. Drive to Chamundeshwari Temple which sits atop the Chamundi Hills. On the way back to the city you will see the Statue of Mahishasura and Nandi and reach Mysore Zoo and later visit Jaganmohan Palace. Built-in traditional Hindu style, Jaganmohan Palace has three stories. There is an art gallery in the palace that contains one of the largest collections of artifacts in South India. Then take a visit to the Mysore Palace located in the heart of the city. It is a historical palace, a royal residence of the Wadiyar dynasty, and seat of the Kingdom of Mysore. Known for impressive architecture, the palace is considered to be one of the most beautiful palaces in India. Thereafter visit the St. Philomena’s Church which is a Roman Catholic Church with very impressive architecture. In the evening, take a visit to the famous Brindavan Gardens where you will enjoy a musical water fountain & light show. On-time return to the hotel. Dinner and overnight will be at the hotel.

    Day 6: Mysore - Hassan (125 km / 2.30 hrs.)

    After breakfast at the hotel, drive to Hassan en route enjoying sightseeing at Srirangapatna. Visit the very famous Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple which is an ancient Hindu temple dedicated to Sri Ranganathaswamy, a form of Lord Vishnu. Then visit the Kalyani Siddhi Vinayaka Temple in front of the Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple. Also visit some other attractions such as Daria Daulat Palace (also called Tipu Sultan Summer Palace) located amidst beautiful gardens called Daria Daulat Bagh, and Tipu Sultan Gumbaz among others.

    Day 7: Hassan Sightseeing

    Have a very hearty breakfast at the hotel. And then proceed for sightseeing in and around Hassan. It is a historic town in the state of Karnataka named after Hasanmata Temple. Visit the Hasanmata Temple which was built around the 12th century. The temple is dedicated to the Goddess Shakti or Amba. Later proceed to explore Halebid and Belur attractions. Halebid or Halebidu was the capital of the Hoysala Empire in the 12th century. It is home to some of the best examples of Hoysala Architecture. Visit here ornate Hoysaleshwara and Kedareshwara temples. Belur is famous among tourists because of its Vaishnavism Hindu temples. Visit the most popular Chennakeshava Temple at Belur.     Day 8: Hassan - Hospet (300 km / 6 hrs.)

    Day 9: Hospet - Hampi – Hospet

    Post breakfast, take a drive for 12 km to reach the historic and heritage site of Hampi, also referred to as the Group of Monuments at Hampi that is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Here you will see several ancient Hindu temples and ruins of temples that are known for their amazing architectural styles. Virupaksha temple, Krishna temple, Achyutaraya temple, Vitthala temple, and Hemakuta hill monuments are prime attractions at Hampi to see. On-time return to the hotel in Hospet for dinner and overnight stay.

    Day 10: Hospet - Badami (130 / 3 hrs. approx.)

    Leave the hotel after breakfast. Drive to Badami, formerly known as Vatapi, a town in Karnataka and the regal capital of the Badami Chalukyas from AD 540 to 757. The town is best known for its rock-cut structural temples and monuments. The town has been chosen as one of the heritage cities for the HRIDAY – Heritage City Development and Augmentation Yojana scheme of the Government of India.

    On arrival in Badami, you will be transferred to your pre-booked hotel. Freshen up and relax. Later proceed to see Pattadakal Temple Complex, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The complex consists of 7th and 8th century CE Hindu and Jain temples. Later proceed to visit the Group of Monuments at Aihole, also a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Return to hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

    Day 11: Badami Sightseeing

    Have your breakfast at the hotel and then proceed for Badami sightseeing. Take a visit to the Badami Temple Complex that consists of four Hindu cave temples, an example of Indian rock-cut architecture. These temples were constructed around the 6th century. Thereafter, take a visit to the Bhutanatha group of temples, constructed around the 6th century. Here you will see a cluster of sandstone shrines dedicated to the deity Bhutanatha. Visit the Bhutanatha temple and the Mallikarjuna group of temples at the temple complex. Also, visit the Banashankari Devi Temple. On-time return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

    Day 12: Badami - Hubli (106 km / 2 hrs.)

    Have breakfast at the hotel and then drive to Hubli, a city located in the state of Karnataka. Hubli is often described as the Twin City. It forms a contiguous urban area with the city of Dharwad. It is the second-largest city in Karnataka state. Head towards Old Goa to see the churches and convents of Goa, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Visit Bom Jesus Basilica Church (a part of Churches and Convents of Goa, declared as UNESCO World Heritage Site), Church of St. Francis of Assisi, and Se Cathedral. Also visit Goa State Museum, Temples, and other attractions. Later, visit Anjuna Beach which is famous for trance parties and Wednesday flea markets.     Day 15: Goa - Mumbai – Departure
