Day 1: Bangalore - Udaipur
Board your morning flight from Kempegowda International Airport, Bangalore, to reach Udaipur, Rajasthan. On arrival at Maharana Pratap Airport in Udaipur, a representative from Shakti India Tours will meet you and greet you with a warm welcome. You will then be transferred to your pre-booked hotel with check-in assistance. Freshen up and relax. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel in Udaipur, the City of Lakes.
Day 2: Udaipur Sightseeing
After having breakfast at the hotel, proceed for the Udaipur sightseeing tour. Visit the City Palace Complex to explore its architectural brilliance and several palatial palaces and temples within the complex. Also, visit the Saheliyon-Ki-Bari (Garden of the Maidens) and Bharatiya Lok Kala Mandal. In the evening, enjoy a boat ride on Lake Pichola and visit Jag Mandir, Lake Palace, and Jagdish Temple. On time return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3: Udaipur to Jodhpur
Check out from the hotel in Udaipur after your breakfast. Then, drive to Jodhpur, the second-largest city in the state of Rajasthan, en-route visit the architecturally beautiful Ranakpur Jain Temples. There are 1444 pillars in the temple and each pillar is different from others. On arrival in Jodhpur, check out in your pre-booked hotel. Freshen up and relax. In the evening, explore local bazaars for shopping. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel in Jodhpur.
Day 4: Jodhpur to Jaisalmer
Take your breakfast and embark on a very exciting sightseeing tour in Jodhpur, also called the Blue City or Sun City. Visit the mammoth Mehrangarh Fort and see the wonderful views of blue houses in the city below. Later, visit the beautiful and serene Jaswant Thada, a stunning memorial cenotaph built in white marble. Next, visit the Umaid Bhawan Palace, an elegant palace and one of the world’s largest private residences. Explore the palace museum that focuses on the 20th-century history of the Jodhpur Royal Family. After Lunch depart for Jaisalmer, the Golden City. The journey will take approximately 5 hours. Upon arrival in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan, our representative will transfer you to your pre-booked hotel. Freshen up and relax. Enjoy the rest of the time in your personal activities or exploring local nearby places. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel in Jaisalmer.
Day 5: Jaisalmer Sightseeing
Have a very hearty breakfast at the hotel and then embark on a Jaisalmer sightseeing tour. Visit the Jaisalmer Fort (Sonar Kila or Golden Fort) which is one of the largest living forts in the world. Explore the Patwon-Ki-Haveli, Nathmal-Ji-Ki-Haveli, Jain Temples, and bazaars within the fort complex. In the afternoon, take an excursion to Sam Village to see the rippling Sand Dunes. Enjoy a camel safari ride to explore the desert landscapes and meet local people. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel in Jaisalmer, the Golden City.
Day 6: Jaisalmer - Bikaner
Enjoy a delicious breakfast at the hotel and then drive to Bikaner. The journey will take around 6 hours. Upon arrival in Bikaner, the Camel City, check in at your pre-booked hotel. Freshen up and relax and then visit the famous Junagarh Fort and explore various beautiful palaces inside the complex. Also, explore museums that showcase the grandiose living style of the past Maharanas of Rajasthan. Karan Mahal, Phool Mahal, Anup Mahal, Ganga Mahal, Badal Mahal, Bikaneri Havelis, Har Mandir Temple, and Fort Museum are attractions at the Junagarh Fort. In the evening visit the Lalgarh Palace which is known for its unique architecture. The palace houses the Shri Sadul Museum, Lallgarh Palace Hotel (a heritage hotel), and Laxmi Niwas Palace (a luxury hotel). Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel in Bikaner.
Day 7: Bikaner to Jaipur
Check out from the hotel in Bikaner after breakfast. Depart for Jaipur, the Pink City of India. Upon arrival in Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan, our representative will receive you and transfer you to your pre-booked hotel. Freshen up and relax. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel in Jaipur, the Pink City.
Day 8: Jaipur Sightseeing
Your Jaipur sightseeing tour is incomplete if you do not enjoy an elephant ride to ascend the Amer Fort. So, take an excursion to Amber Fort situated atop a hill on the outskirts of Jaipur city. Take the elephant ride to the entrance of the fort complex. Marvel at architectural brilliance and see the panoramic views of Jaipur from the fort. Return to the main city en route visiting Jal Mahal (Water Palace). Then, visit the City Palace, an elegant palace that is a combination of Rajput, Mughal, and European architectural styles. Explore various attractions within the complex like Govind Devji Temple, Sabha Niwas, Sarvato Bhadra, Pritam Niwas Chowk, Chandra Mahal, Sobha Niwas, Mubarak Mahal, and the Clock Tower. Also visit the Jantar Mantar Royal Observatory which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a marvel of engineering. Then, explore the intricacies of Hawa Mahal, known as the Palace of Winds. Also, visit the Albert Hall Museum and other attractions if time permits. Spend the evening shopping in the local markets before a farewell dinner featuring local Rajasthani cuisine at the hotel in Jaipur.
Day 9: Jaipur - Agra
Have a very hearty breakfast at the hotel. Depart for Agra, Uttar Pradesh. It will take your time of around 5 hours. en route visiting Fatehpur Sikri, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Fatehpur Sikri was built by Mughal Emperor Akbar as his capital. The emperor shortly abandoned this city as his capital due to the scarcity of drinking water. At Fatehpur Sikri, you will see several historical monuments such as, Buland Darwaza (a 54 meters tall marble gateway built to commemorate Akbar's victory over Gujarat), Jama Masjid, Anoop Talao, Tomb of Salim Chishti, Ibadat Khana, Jodha Bai Palace (Mariam-uz-Zamani's Palace), Naubat Khana, Panch Mahal, Birbal’s House, Diwan-i-Aam, and Diwan-i-Khas.
Continue your drive to Agra Upon arrival in Agra, you will be assisted to check in at your pre-booked hotel. Freshen up and relax. Evening explore the Meena Bazaar. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel in Agra.
Day 10: Agra - Delhi
Agra is a historical city in the state of Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. The city boasts several historical monuments including the Taj Mahal (the epitome of love), Agra Fort, and the Itmad-ud-Daulah Tomb (the Baby Taj).
At Sunrise, you will visit the magnificent Taj Mahal, one of the Seven Wonders of the World and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Built in pure white marble, the Taj Mahal was constructed by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in the loving memory of his beloved wife, Mumtaz Mahal. Return to hotel for breakfast & check out.
Later, visit to the Agra Fort, another UNESCO World Heritage Site in the city. The architecturally beautiful fort complex was the great Mughal Emperor, Akbar. Moti Masjid, Diwan-e-Khas, Diwan-e-Aam, Khas Mahal and Jahangir Mahal are the beautiful structures inside the Agra Fort Complex.
After Lunch, Drive to Delhi (4 to 5 hours approx.). Upon arrival in Delhi, check in at your pre-booked hotel. Freshen up and relax. At Night, explore Connaught Place for shopping. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel in Delhi.Day 11: Delhi Sightseeing
Post breakfast, proceed for Delhi sightseeing. Delhi, the National Capital of India, is home to three UNESCO World Heritage Sites, namely Red Fort, Humayun’s Tomb, and Qutub Complex or Qutub Minar. There are several other attractions dotted in the various parts of the city including Old Delhi and New Delhi areas. On your Delhi city tour, first of all, take a visit to Raj Ghat - the resting place of Mahatma Gandhi. Later, proceed to visit the Red Fort, also called Lal Kila, a historic monument built by fifth Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan after shifting his capital from Agra to Delhi. Explore various structures inside the fort complex and also visit the Fort Museum. Later, visit the nearby Jama Masjid, the largest mosque of India that can accommodate more than 25000 people at a time. Visit the nearby Shri Digambar Jain Lal Temple. Explore local bustling markets in the Chandni Chowk area.
Return to hotel. After some relaxation and lunch, drive to Rajpath, the ceremonial avenue. Visit the India Gate located astride the Rajpath. India Gate is a war memorial monument of national importance, built in the memory of those brave soldiers who had laid their lives during the First World War. Then visit the Rashtrapati Bhawan, the official residence of the President of India, located on the western edge of Rajpath. Then take a visit to the nearby Sansad Bhawan, the Parliament House of India. Then proceed to visit the famous Humayun’s Tomb which is known for its architectural styles and beautiful gardens. Then proceed to visit the Qutub Minar, another world heritage site in the city. There are several other ruins of historical importance in the Qutub Complex. Later proceed to see the other attractions of Delhi covering Lotus Temple (the Bahai House of Worship known for beautiful architecture), and Laxmi Narayan Mandir (Birla Temple). On-time return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 12: Departure from Delhi to Bangalore
Enjoy your breakfast in Delhi. The Shakti India Tours representative will transfer you to Indira Gandhi International Airport for your flight back to Bangalore. The tour ends with an unforgettable experience of Rajasthan tour with Agra and Delhi.
