Itinerary
Destinations Covered: Varanasi
Day 01: Arrival in Varanasi
Arrive in Varanasi by flight/train and meet and greet by Shakti India Tours representative who will transfer you to the pre-booked hotel accommodated for overnight stay. Freshen up at the hotel and relax. Later in the afternoon, proceed for an afternoon sightseeing tour of Sarnath.
Sarnath – There are four geographically important places in the life of Buddha Where he was born (Lumbini, Nepal), where he gained enlightenment (Bodh Gaya, India), where he gave his first sermon (Sarnath, India), and where he left his mortal body (Kushinagar, India).
In the evening, proceed for Dashashwamedh Ghat to see Ganga Aarti. Dashashwamedh Ghat is the main Ghat on the banks of the river Ganga where Ganga Aarti is performed by a group of priests. The Aarti is performed each day just after sunset. Visit the ghat before Aarti starts.
On-time return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 02: Varanasi ( Morning river tour & City tour combined )
Start your day with a morning boat ride at dawn. Boat down in the Ganga river during the sunrise is one of the main attractions of Varanasi. After this proceed for a sightseeing tour of the city. Visit Bharat Mata Temple – dedicated to Mother India, Tulsimanas Temple, Durga Temple, New Vishwanath Temple, Banaras Hindu University which is one of the oldest educational centers of India, founded by Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya in 1917 for the study of Sanskrit, Indian art. Culture and music. Overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 03: Departure From Varanasi
After having breakfast at the hotel, Shakti India Tours Representative will drop you at Varanasi Railway Station/Airport to board your train/flight for home or onward destination.
