    Day 3: Delhi - Jaipur & Sightseeing (296 km, 5.30 hr.)

Check out from the hotel in Delhi after having your breakfast. Drive to Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan and lovingly known as the Pink City of India. Chandra Mahal, Mubarak Mahal, Shri Govind Dev Temple, and the City Palace Museum are the most visited attractions inside the City Palace Complex.

Later, visit the Hawa Mahal (the Palace of Winds) located on the edge of the City Palace. Built by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh, the grandson of Sawai Jai Singh (the founder of Jaipur), the Hawa Mahal is among the most popular attractions on Jaipur city tour. It is a unique five-storey architectural wonder with 953 small windows called Jharokhas decorated with intricate latticework. It is also called the crown of Jaipur as it resembles the shape of Lord Krishna’s crown. Visit the Jantar Mantar, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Built by the Rajput king Sawai Jai Singh II, the founder of Jaipur, the Jantar Mantar is basically a royal observatory. It is a collection of nineteen architectural astronomical instruments. On-time return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

    Day 4: Jaipur Sightseeing

The fort was constructed by Jai Singh II in 1726 to protect the Amer Fort and its palace complex and was named after him. Thereafter, also visit the Nahargarh Fort. Nahargarh literally means “the abode of tigers”. Return to hotel en-route visiting the Jal Mahal (the Palace of Water). After lunch, enjoy the rest of the day as you like. En route stop at Fatehpur Sikri, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Fatehpur Sikri was founded by Emperor Akbar as the capital of the Mughal Empire. But soon he abandoned this city due to scarcity of drinking water. Buland Darwaza, the 54-meter-high (177 ft.) entrance to Fatehpur Sikri complex, Jama Masjid, Tomb of Salim Chishti, Ibadat Khana, Mariam-uz-Zamani’s Palace (Rani Jodha Bai Palace), Naubat Khana, and Birbal’s House are key attractions in Fatehpur Sikri.

Built in red sandstone, the fort is also called the Red Fort of Agra. It is the only fort in the country where all early Mughal emperors lived.

The Agra Fort is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site. There are a number of architectures and sites of tourists’ interest inside the fort complex. Shahjahani Mahal, Jahangir’s Hauz, Jahangir’s Chain of Justice, Shah Burj & Jharokha, and Shish Mahal are major attractions inside the fort complex. Delhi Gate and Lahore Gate (also called Amar Singh Gate) are two notable gates of the fort. The Delhi Gate is closed to the public. Tourists are allowed to enter the complex only via the Lahore Gate (Amar Singh Gate). Spend the evening exploring local bustling bazaars and colorful handicraft markets. On-time return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

    Day 6: Agra - Delhi (232 km, 4.30 hr.)

In the early morning proceed to visit the Taj Mahal, the most-awaited attraction of your Golden Triangle Tour. The beauty of the Taj Mahal at sunrise is simply incomparable. We cannot describe it in words. You need to experience it, feel it. The Taj Mahal is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Built-in pure white marble, basically it is a mausoleum that was constructed by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in the loving memory of his most beloved wife, Mumtaz Mahal.
