Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Jaipur, Sightseeing Tour of Jaipur
SHAKTI INDIA TOURS Representative will receive you from Jaipur Airport/Railway Station and will transfer you to the designated hotel. Afternoon visit of City Palace Complex that has the houses of Shri Govind Devji Temple, Mubarak Palace, City Palace Museum, Chandra Mahal, courtyards, and gardens also visit Jantar Mantar and Albert Hall Museum, If time permits you may also visit the Birla Temple and Heritage bazaar. Overnight stay will be at the hotel in Jaipur.
Day 02: Sightseeing Tour of Jaipur
Post an early morning breakfast at the hotel, take an excursion to the Amer area to see the historical forts Amer Fort & Palace, Amer Fort is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Enjoy an elephant ride to ascend the fort complex situated atop a hill. Explore the spectacular structures and architecture of the fort complex. Return to Jaipur city en-route visiting the Jal Mahal (Water Palace), Later visit the Hawa Mahal (the Palace of Winds) which is known for its unique 5 storey architecture with 953 small windows called Jharokhas decorated with intricate latticework. This palace was built with the purpose to allow royal ladies of Rajasthan to see the daily activities below on the road without being seen apart from the outside. Later explore the local markets of Jaipur. Shopping in the local markets would be a great experience to cherish for a lifetime. On time return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 03: Jaipur - Jodhpur (335 kms/6 hrs. approx.)
Post your breakfast at the hotel you will be driven to Jodhpur. Upon arrival meet our tour representative who will assist you till the check in procedure at the hotel. Evening visit of Clock Tower and local market of Jodhpur. Overnight will be at the hotel.
Day 04: Sightseeing Tour of Jodhpur
Have a relaxed breakfast at the hotel. In the afternoon, visit the major tourist attractions of the city including Mehrangarh fort, Umaid Bhavan Palace, Jaswant Thada, and Raj Ka Bagh Palace. The evening is scheduled for a visit to the beautiful Umed Garden and the Government Museum. Overnight stay in the hotel.
Day 05: Jodhpur – Jaisalmer (280 kms/4 hrs. approx.)
After breakfast at the hotel begin your road journey towards Jaisalmer (around 4 hours). Once you reach, complete the check-in formalities at your pre-booked hotel. Freshen up and proceed to visit the magnificent Jaisalmer Fort and the Royal Cenotaphs. Thereafter, visit the venue of the Desert Festival. Spend the rest of the day enjoying and participating in various programs such as the Turban Tying Competition, Mr. and Miss. Desert, etc. Back to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 06: Day in Desert Festival, Jaisalmer
Early morning, you can attend the Mangal aarti at the Gadsisar Lake. Back to the hotel for breakfast. Later, enjoy participating and contributing to your team’s win in a Tug of War game- Indians Vs Foreigners. Both men and women participate in this game. Later, test your balancing skills by participating in the Matka race competition. You may also indulge in the games like camel decoration and camel polo that is sure to leave you amused to the fullest. Later return to the hotel and overnight stay.
Day 07: Day in Desert Festival, Jaisalmer
Proceed for a sightseeing tour of Jaisalmer post breakfast. The major tourist attractions of Jaisalmer include Jain Temples, Bada Bagh, Folklore Museum, and the Amar Sagar Lake. Later in the day also visit Salim ji Ki Haveli and Nathmal ki Haveli then, drive to Sam Sand dunes, the venue for the grand finale of the Desert Festival. Return to the hotel and overnight stay.
Day 08: Jaisalmer – Jodhpur (280 kms/4 hrs. approx.) - Departure
After breakfast, drive to Jodhpur and Shakti India Tours Representative will drop you at Jodhpur Airport to board your flight to home/onward destination.
