    Day 01: Arrival in Delhi

    Upon arrival at New Delhi International Airport, a representative from Shakti India Tours will receive you with a warm welcome and transfer you to the pre-booked hotel. Freshen up and unwind yourself in your room. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.

    Day 02: Delhi Sightseeing – Jaisalmer (by overnight train)

    Post breakfast, enjoy a guided city tour in Delhi. Visit the Red Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Raj Ghat (the final resting place of Mahatma Gandhi), and the Jama Masjid (the largest mosque in India) in Old Delhi. Later, visit the attractions of New Delhi—India Gate (a war memorial monument), President House, Parliament House, Humayun’s Tomb (a UNESCO World Heritage Site), Laxmi Narayan Temple (Birla Temple), and the Qutub Minar (a UNESCO World Heritage Site). Later in the evening, you will be transferred to the railway station to board the overnight train for Jaisalmer in Rajasthan. Dinner will be onboard the train.

    Day 03: Arrival in Jaisalmer

    You will arrive in Jaisalmer in the afternoon. Our representative will meet and transfer you to the pre-booked hotel. Spend the rest of the day at leisure. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.

    Day 04: Jaisalmer Sightseeing

    Have a very hearty breakfast at the hotel. Then, embark on a full-day sightseeing tour in Jaisalmer—the Golden City. Visit the majestic Jaisalmer Fort, also called the Golden Fort or Sonar Kila. The fort stands proudly amidst the golden stretches of the great Thar Desert, on Trikuta Hill, and has been the scene of many battles.

    Further, visit the Manak Chowk and explore the prominent Havelis of Jaisalmer. Also, visit the Gadisar Lake and explore local markets in the city. Return to the hotel and unwind in your room. In the evening, move towards Sam Dunes to enjoy a camel safari ride. Also, enjoy the wonderful view of the sunset over the rippling sand dunes. Later in the evening, return to the hotel in Jaisalmer for dinner and an overnight stay.

    Day 05: Jaisalmer – Jodhpur (by train)

    Have a relaxed breakfast at the hotel. Explore the local markets and do some shopping. Later in the afternoon, you will be transferred to the railway station to board the train for Jodhpur, the second-largest city in Rajasthan after the capital city, Jaipur. A representative from Shakti India Tours will meet and receive you from the railway station in Jodhpur. Then, you will be transferred to the pre-booked hotel. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.

    Day 06: Jodhpur – Udaipur (by road)

    Have your breakfast at the hotel and then proceed to a sightseeing tour in Jodhpur, the Blue City. Standing on the edge of the Thar Desert, Jodhpur is one of the most visited tourist destinations in the state of Rajasthan. First, visit the majestic Mehrangarh Fort—one of the most impressive and formidable forts in Rajasthan. The fort is situated on a high natural rock bluff and from which you can look down on the wonderful panorama of the bustling city. Further, visit the Jaswant Thada – the Royal Cenotaphs.

    Later in the evening, drive to Udaipur by road en route stopping at Ranakpur. You will visit here the famous Ranakpur Jain Temple, aka Chaturmukha Dharana Vihara. The impressive temple is dedicated to Tirthankara Rishabhanatha—the first Tirthankara of Jainism and the establisher of Ikshvaku dynasty. The temple is one of the largest and most important temples of Jain culture. The architectural brilliance of the temple complex will never fail to lure you.

    After exploring the Jain Temples at Ranakpur, continue your drive to Udaipur, the City of Lakes. On arrival in this beautiful city, you will be transferred to the pre-booked hotel. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.

    Day 07: Udaipur – Jaipur (by overnight train)

    Have a delicious breakfast at the hotel. Thereafter, proceed for a sightseeing tour in Udaipur, one of the most romantic cities in India. Udaipur is one of the most charming and popular tourist destinations in Rajasthan and India. The city is known for its beauty along with palatial palaces and lovely lakes. Because of several beautiful lakes, the city is also called the City of Lakes.

    First, visit the City Palace in Udaipur. It is a magnificent palace complex featuring spectacular architecture. Here you will marvel at rooms with mirrored walls and ivory doors, colored glass windows and inlaid marble balconies, and the Peacock Courtyard.

    Also, visit the famous Jagdish Temple—a Hindu Temple dedicated to Supreme God, Lord Vishnu. The temple is located just outside the royal palace. Spectacular carvings and sculptures on the walls are the highlights of the Jagdish Temple in Udaipur. Depending on time, you will also see several other attractions like Saheliyon-ki-Bari, Fateh Sagar Lake, Monsoon Palace, Moti Magri, etc. In the evening, enjoy a boat cruise on Lake Pichola and see the wonderful view of Sunset over the lake. Here, you will also see the Lake Palace, which is situated in the middle of the lake. The Jag Mandir Palace is another attraction here. The palace is located on an island in Lake Pichola. This palace is also known as the Lake Garden Palace.

    Return to the hotel for dinner. After dinner, you will be transferred to the railway station to board the train to Jaipur, the capital and largest city of Rajasthan. Overnight stay on the train.

    Day 08: Arrival in Jaipur

    You will arrive this morning in Jaipur, the Pink City of India. A representative from Shakti India Tours will receive you from the railway station and transfer you to the pre-booked hotel. Freshen up and unwind yourself. Enjoy a relaxed breakfast.

    In the afternoon, visit the Nahargarh Fort that stands on the edge of the Aravalli Hills in Jaipur. The fort complex overlooks the wonderful view of the Pink City. Spend some at Nahargarh Fort, exploring and admiring its architectural brilliance. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

    Day 09: Jaipur Sightseeing

    Post breakfast, take an excursion to Amer Fort, located atop a hill on the outskirts of Jaipur. Enjoy an elephant ride to reach the gate of the fort complex. The fort complex is known for its spectacular architecture. Here, you will see many beautiful structures like courtyards, temples, and palaces. After exploring Amer Fort, return to Jaipur, en-route visiting the Jal Mahal—the Palace of Water. In the afternoon, explore Jaipur’s attractions like City Palace Complex, Govind Devji Temple, Hawa Mahal, Birla Temple (Laxmi Narayan Mandir), Albert Hall Museum, and Jantar Mantar Royal Observatory. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

    Day 10: Jaipur – Agra (by train)

    Have a relaxed breakfast at the hotel. You can explore the local markets of Jaipur and do some good shopping of your requirements and collect some souvenirs for your memory. Later in the afternoon, you will be transferred to the Jaipur railway station to board the train for Agra, the City of Taj Mahal. Upon arrival at the Agra railway station, you’ll be transferred to the pre-booked hotel. Freshen up and unwind yourself. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.

    Day 11: Agra – Delhi (by train)

    In the early morning, proceed to visit the Taj Mahal, one of the most beautiful buildings in the world, one of the Seventh Wonders of the World, and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Marvel at the wonderful beauty of the Taj Mahal at the dawn. Built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in the loving memory of his most beloved wife, Mumtaz Mahal, the Taj Mahal is the finest example of Mughal architecture. After visiting the Taj Mahal and exploring its complex, return to the hotel for breakfast. Later, proceed to visit the Agra Fort, another UNESCO World Heritage Site in the city. Further, visit the Itmad-Ud-Daulah Tomb—lovingly known at the Baby Taj or the Draft of the Taj Mahal.
    Later in the evening, you will be transferred to the Agra railway station to board the train for Delhi. Our representative will pick up you from the railway station and transfer you to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.

    Day 12: Delhi – Departure

    Have a delicious breakfast at the hotel. On-time, a representative from Shakti India Tours will transfer to the New Delhi International Airport, where you will board the flight back to your home destination. Tour ends.
